Castel Pujol Folklore Carbonica

Organically farmed Arinarnoa from Uruguay. Arinarnoa is thought to be a cross between Tannat and Cabernet Sauvignon. The dark fruit and tannins you would expect from those parent grapes are present here, but the body is more ethereal and bright because of the carbonic vinification. Notes of blackberry skins and dark cocoa, great acidity and lighter body all come together in a unique wine, great served with a chill. A perfect accompaniment for a charcuterie board.
